FP Canada names top performers of February CFP exam

FP Canada has named the top performers of the February 2025 sitting of the certified financial planner (CFP) exam.

Earning spots on the certification body’s President’s List with their top scores are:

• Aravind Sithamparapillai, Aligned Capital Partners Inc., Hamilton, Ont. — first place;
• Reid Palmer, Assante Capital Management Ltd., London, Ont. — second place;
• Benjamin Elliot, RBC Dominion Securities Inc., Vancouver, B.C. — third-place tie; and
• Cameron Smith, Investment Planning Counsel, Burlington, Ont. — third-place tie.

February’s CFP exam was written by 280 candidates, and the pass rate for first-time writers was 71%.
